This concert weaves together tradition and renewal through four strong voices from different eras. Charles Ives’s folk-inspired String Quartet is followed by Nicky Sohn’s sparkling For Caio. Elena Kats-Chernin’s imaginative Re-Inventions for recorder and string quartet lead the audience into a fairytale-like sound world, before the concert concludes with Beethoven’s classical Clarinet Trio. We warmly recommend visiting the Stundars Museum Village before the concert – furthermore, don’t miss out on the cozy Lyckans Café right by the concert venue.
