Works of composer Petri Judin

On Palm Sunday, March 29th at 2:00 PM, the composition concert to be held in the Toivo Kuula Hall will feature solo works for various wind instruments by Vaasa composer Petri Judin, chamber music, and the multimedia work Dicranum, which is based on the soundscape of the “Twirls of the Eternal Forest” exhibition held at the Black Wall Gallery in 2022. The work combines the poems and installations of Mirjam Silvén with the visual art of Sirpa Seppelin. Around this ensemble, Tarja Huntus has put together a video work about the visual content of the exhibition. The Latin poems of the soundscape will be recited by Hertta Mauriala. The musicians performing in the concert are Erica Nygård, flute, John Alén, clarinet and tarogato, Erik Nygård, violin, Tea Polso, harpsichord and piano, and Petri Judin, clarinet and piano.
