An Evening in the Light of History: A Gustavian Night at the Furirbostället
Welcome to step into the enchanted world of the 1700s! On March 28th at 6:00 PM, we invite you to an exclusive themed evening where the whispers of history meet gastronomic delight.
“Death Breathes Life” – A Monologue about Erik Magnus Staël Von Holstein
During the evening, we will experience a captivating performance about the mysterious Baron von Holstein. With a newly written script by “Soldat Trast” (Berndt Berglund), we are promised a tale filled with drama, intrigue, and the unique character that defined Gustavian-era Sweden.
Program of the Evening
Welcome Toast: We begin the evening in the true spirit of the era.
Theater: Soldat Trast’s dramatization of Baron von Holstein’s life and times will take place before dinner.
Dinner: A well-composed supper inspired by the flavors of the 18th century, served in an atmosphere of flickering candlelight.
Let the wigs be powdered and the buckles polished—this is an evening for those who love history, culture, and fine dining in good company.
