Lina Teir in Nykarleby

Lina Teir has her roots in South Ostrobothnia and is now based in France. She creates musical experiences that are poetic and deeply personal, where each concert is inspired by the new place, the time we live in, and the people she meets. She plays instruments such as violin, piano, and guitar, inviting the audience into a shared space where we can meet in timeless stories of courage and love. Lina Teir sings in English and Swedish and draws inspiration from the Nordic folk song tradition, French chanson, and artists such as Joni Mitchell, Nina Simone, and Tove Jansson.
