Artfactory Malakta in Malax, are hosting Together — an event where you can feel community and turn it into real help.
On February 7th at 13:00 at Artfactory Malakta in Malax, we’re hosting Together — an event where you can feel community and turn it into real help.
Ukrainian theatre, music, an open stage, a market, a creative workshop, and Ukrainian food — a way to gather and support Ukrainian charity foundations. All proceeds will be donated to Finland Ukraina Ostrobotniia Kalyna rf and the charity association Feeniksin Kilta ry.
We invite you and your family to spend time with us, a day full of encounters. Come for the day or for a few hours!
Programme:
13:00–15:00 Art workshop
15:00–16:00 Film screening
15:00–17:00 Ukrainian dishes by Finland Ukraine Ostrobotniia Kalyna rf (serving borscht soup, selling other savoury and sweet treats to accompany coffee and tea)
15:00-18:00 Craft and art sale by both Finns and Ukrainians
16:00-17:00 Interview with Finnish volunteer Markus Mattson about how he supports Ukraine – a solo bike trip from Helsinki to Kiev and more (online).
17:00: The ArtTerra theatre group performs Ukrainian Voices, depicting the lives of contemporary Ukrainian women with the help of actors, art and sand.
18:00-19:00 Open Stage with music, poetry and performances.
Entrance fee 10 € or voluntary donation.
The event is organised together by Art in Malakta rf, Kalyna rf, Feeniksin Kilta ry, theatre group ArtTerra, Malax Mittemellan marthor and the municipality of Malax.
